Put it this way, if the auto industry has to slow down much, what kind of jobs will there be left. Too many greedy money hungry people in this country just thinking about the $$$.. Lets get into the oil reserves and allow no foreign countries access to any of it. Then start trading food for things we no longer produce but have to import. It's use the heads time for our governmaent.

Almost every single economic indicator is bad and getting worse. It's almost not even SANE to suggest that things aren't going bad. Could be the start of a long dark slide down. Let's hope not.

I have to agree with Cinnamongirl on this one. People are being held up outside fast food resturants. . . not for money , but for their food ! Whats this say about our economy ( and our society ) ? ? Regardless of what the politicos want you to beleive , we are already in a major depression.

When it costs $250 a month just to get to work, something is terribly terribly wrong. Unless things straighten up real soon, we're in for a rough haul. And even if you have a garden, do you think people nowadays would hesitate to rob you if they think you have anything. Americans go hungry? Look at us. Not a chance. Watch your back.

NO!!! I have faith in the people of this country--all we have to do is if you have stock just leave it where it is and if you have a little money in the bank leave it where it is--it is when people start to panic that causes all the trouble--we must hang tuff drill new oil wells as fast as we can and maybe have our own garden a great lawn will not feed us--Just trying to use a little true grit--we can do it we are not all whimps
