One does not have "presumption of fear of death or great bodily harm" from a cell phone or loud music, Ohiodem.

There is more to the law if you go to the link. Read it and be informed.

Ohiodem: "The stand your ground laws like they have in Florida sould be repealed, thinking you can kill someone over a cell phone or loud music or walking while black, that is insane."

That is insane, and thinking that is what the stand-your-ground law says is also insane.

Here is what the law actually says:

I own several and support the 2nd ammendment. I also beleive that a background check should be done on every gun sale. I also think there should be restrictions on magazine capacity. The stand your ground laws like they have in Florida sould be repealed, thinking you can kill someone over a cell phone or loud music or walking while black, that is insane.

To answer simply we own several. We're avid hunters and target shooting is a family activity for us. Children, when the right age and maturity, need to learn about gun safety from their parents. I was 7 the first time my dad took me hunting and I greatly appreciate the survival skills he taught me. I know if anything were to happen I'd be fine and wouldn't depend on anyone for anything.
