what a whack job! children and full grown adults are completely different. the high school "pre-Adults" are still kids. the school board can not cancel classes for the elementary kids and not for the rest of the kids. Buses have to run, teachers have to be in the building. Most times its to cold for even the buses to run and keep the battery alive. This has been an extraordinary cold winter. Cut them a break. They will just cut the spring break short, go to school on Presidents day etc....

Yeah , Major Malfunction. . . Wimps -- if not WORSE. I can't imagine what YOU do for a living, but it seems to me that you were brought up with a silver spoon in your mouth ! I wonder how often the guys down at the mill had a "2 hour delay" due to weather !!--- Keep up the good work and let the Stupidville Kids grow up like a bunch of "kittens". ( meow )

Hey PgH, how about I take your car keys buy you a warm coat and you walk to work with the students right alongside you. Wimps? Get real.

True, but most of the city kids walk to school or ride the city bus.

Really? Our school districts are definitely cancelling classes too quickly. I can see cancelling for the younger students but when classes are called off for high school kids, it's just turning them into a bunch of wimps. Buy 'em a warm coat and take 'em to the bus stop !!
