The mortgage crisis was mostly caused by PEOPLE who criminally did not pay on their loans. People who do not pay their loans should be candidates for imprisonment.

Congress needs to stay out of it. They helped create the problem by pressuring loan companies to loan to less qualified people. Now they are going to fix it? Besides the Dems proposed fix is to take money from taxpayers and use it to assist people who were careless and got themselves into this mess. As usual the people who follow the rules have to bail out those who don't. Ciance
