Karaoke fun night in East Springfield

The East Springfield Community Center will host a karaoke fun night on Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Chelsea Matta will serve as the disc jockey.

Food and drinks will be available for sale.

The center is located on county Road 39 next to the East Springfield Volunteer Fire Department.

Booklet work for reunion committee

The Wintersville High School Class of 1964 reunion committee will meet at 1 p.m. Friday at the Stratton Municipal Building to begin work on the booklet of all the classmates, a project for the 50-year reunion scheduled for Aug. 16.

All class members are encouraged to turn in their information for the booklet.

Abuse support group to meet

The Hancock-Brooke-Ohio County Victims of Assistance Program has formed a support group for survivors of sexual abuse, domestic violence, rape and assault.

The group's first meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Brooke-Hancock Family Resource Network's office at 371 New York Blvd., Weirton.

The group will meet at 6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month.

Steubenville Saddle club to meet

The Steubenville Saddle Club will meet at 7 p.m. on March 4 at the East Springfield Community Center located on county Road 39 next to the East Springfield Volunteer Fire Department.

At the club's February meeting, judges for the 2014 show season at the club's grounds on state Route 152 north, Richmond, were announced. They are:

The July 13 show will now be the all payback show for 2014.

Officers of the club are Dale Holcomb, president; Rodney Moore, vice president; Marlene Lamantia, secretary; Cathy Hickle, treasurer; Marty Ternasky, show secretary; and Robin Wedlake, point secretary.

Membership in the club is open to anyone. An annual membership for a family is $25; $15 for an individual; and $10 for a youth.

Checks can be made payable to the Steubenville Saddle Club and mailed to SCC, P.O. Box 431, Richmond, OH 43944, or brought to a meeting.

Senior center holding dinner-dance

The Greater Weirton Area Senior Center will hold a St. Patrick's Day dinner and dance March 17 at the center located on Main Street, Weirton.

The doors open at 4 p.m.; dinner begins at 5 p.m.; and Light Touch will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The cost is $7, and those attending are encouraged to wear green.
