Casimir T. 'Cas' Adulewicz

ADULEWICZ, Casimir T. "Cas," 77, of Steubenville, died Friday, January 10, 2014, at home.

He was born August 11, 1936, in Steubenville, the son of the late Victor and Mary Zuk Adulewicz. Cas is also preceded in death by his son, John C. Adulewicz, and his brother, John M. Adulewicz.

Cas was a Catholic, member and immediate past president of the Steubenville Kiwanis Club, Polish Athletic Club, PNA, Varsity "O" Club.

Surviving are his wife Judith Lynn Beyer Adulewicz, a son, Michael T. Adulewicz of Richmond, VA, and a grandson, Adam, one sister, Mary (John) Steitz of Richmond, OH and his aunt, Regina Zuk of Toronto.

Cas was a graduate of Catholic Central High school class of 1955, The Ohio State University in 1960, while at Ohio State; he was a member of football team, earning a letter in football and was a member of the 1957 Ohio State University National Championship Football Team. He then graduated from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1963.

Cas has practiced law in Steubenville since 1964 and served as the first domestic relations referee and was appointed first magistrate in Jefferson County in 1990 in which he served until his death, and served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Calling hours are today 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, Fr. Tim Huffman, celebrant. There will be a vigil service today at 2 p.m. Entombment will be private at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
