WASHINGTON - Lauren Claire Lewis, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mark D. Lewis of Wintersville, and Jonathan Gregory Steakley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Steakley of Waco, Texas, were united in marriage on April 6, 2013, at the Navy Yard Chapel in Washington, D.C.
Minister Nathan Massie officiated the 1 p.m. ceremony.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore an ivory fit and flare gown, with capped sleeves, with lace and pearl beaded bodice, and the mid backing made of lace. She carried a bouquet of cream roses accented with baby's breath and greenery.

Holly Trushel of Bloomingdale and Brittany Sperlazza of Steubenville served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Jaimie Goff of Middletown, R.I.; Natasha Povich of Pittsburgh; and Hayley Carducci of Columbus.
Brianne Lewis of Moon Township, Pa., niece of the bride, was flower girl.
Andrew Steakley of Waco, Texas, served as his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Jarod Altimore of Houston; Jay Sprague of Bowie, Md.; and Raynor Barton, Alexandria, Va.
A reception followed at the Courtyard Marriott, Pentagon South, in Alexandria, Va.
The couple will honeymoon this spring on the island of Palau.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Indian Creek High School and a 2009 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor's degree in communications, radio and television.
The groom, a graduate of Memorial High School in Houston, Texas, who attended Baylor University, is a chief sonar technician submarines and is stationed with the Submarine Squadron 15 on the Naval Base Guam.
The couple reside in Santa Rita, Guam.
