Brandt — D’Hooge

STEUBENVILLE - First Westminster Presbyterian Church was the setting for the June 22 wedding that united Aleasha Brandt and Shawn D'Hooge in marriage. The 2 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Chad Thompson, brother-in-law of the bride.

Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, Richard and Betsy Brandt of Steubenville, the bride chose a scoop neckline tulle ball gown with corset closure featuring Swarovski crystals and a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of coral and pink roses, white gardenias and white peonies.

The groom is the son of Patrick D'Hooge and Kelly Bergum both of Billings, Mont.

Ashley Pastre of Pittsburgh served as maid of honor. Amanda Thompson, sister of the bride, and Merideth Fluharty, both of Steubenville, served as bridesmaids.

Chris Eberly of Salt Lake City, served as best man. Groomsmen were Michael Bevan of Youngstown and Michael Druschel and Joe Lamp, both of East Liverpool, as well as Richard Brandt, brother of the bride, and Seth Fluharty.

Isabella Thompson, Serenity and Skylar Blair, nieces of the bride, were flower girls.

Hayden and Azland Thompson and Tannen Brandt, nephews of the bride, were ring bearers.

A reception was held at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville. The couple honeymooned in Antigua.

The bride is a graduate of Steubenville High School. She received an associate degree of applied science in respiratory therapy from Eastern Gateway Community College. She is employed by Trinity Medical Center West as a registered respiratory therapist.

The groom is a graduate of Skyview High School. He received an associate degree of applied science in power plant technology. He is employed by First Energy W.H. Sammis Plant as a power plant operator.

The couple reside in Steubenville.
