ST. CLAIRSVILLE - Lore Denisse Rivera Hernandez and Bryan M. Santin exchanged wedding vows on July 13 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville. The Rev. Thomas Chillog, pastor of St. Mary's, officiated the Mass which was concelebrated by Monsignor Kurt H. Kemo and the Rev. Daniel Heusel.
The bride was escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her mother, Loreto Hernandez Sarabia, and father, Jose Luis Rivera Herrera.
The groom is the son of Bryan and Michele Santin of Toronto.

Maricruz Rivera Hernandez, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were: Sonia Rivera Hernandez, sister of the bride; Merissa McKinstry, sister of the groom; Courtney Lewis; Kat Allen Pestian; and Tess Prescott.
Tim M. Pestian, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were: Jeffrey David Barlow; Bruce McKinstry, brother-in-law of the groom; Ryan Marker; Matthew Waldman; and Michael Givens.
Mia and Ella McKinstry, nieces of the groom, and Isabella Simera, cousin of the groom, served as flower girls. Jorge Paredes Rivera, nephew of the bride, served as the ring bearer.
The reception was held in Glessner Auditorium at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling. The newlyweds honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride graduated from the Institute of Technology of Culiacan in Mexico in 2006 with a degree in industrial engineering. She also earned a master's degree in 2011 in environmental sciences from Miami University with a focus in geographic information science. She is employed as a staffing specialist in Elkhart, Ind.
The groom is a graduate of Catholic Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in political science and English from Ohio Dominican University in 2009 and a master's degree in 2011 in English literature from Miami University. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in English at the University of Notre Dame.
