WEIRTON - Angelo Magnone, the former Big Red and Bowling Green State University football standout, will look to earn his third professional victory in as many starts when boxing returns to the Serbian-American Cultural Center on Nov. 27.

The Thanksgiving Eve card, set to start at 7:30 p.m., will be presented by Made Men Promotions. The evening will feature semi-professional and professional bouts.

Magnone, who recorded knockouts in his two previous bouts, will take on Robert Simms, a veteran cage fighter from Cincinnati.

Follansbee native Aaron Quattrocchi will make his way to the squared circle for the second time after making the transition to the professional ranks in September. Quattrocchi, 1-0, will take on mixed martial arts veteran and professional kick boxer Jonathan Hines, fighting out of Kentucky.

Magnone and Quattrocchi both are trained by Arthur Thompson of Steubenville.

The evening's main event will feature Bill Hutchinson, a light welterweight prospect from Pittsburgh. He is on a four-fight winning streak with two of his last three wins coming via knockout. He will test veteran Gabriel Morris from Toledo.

Also highlighting the professional undercard are undefeated light middleweights Courtney Pennington and Jovan Francois. Both are highly decorated amateurs from New York and are off to great starts in their professional careers. Pennington and Francois both sport 6-0 records with all their wins coming by knockout.

The semi-pro undercard is loaded with heavyweights and one middleweight bout.

Heavyweights Cody McConnell from Richmond and Elijah Rhine of Weirton, both making their debuts, will square off against each other. Making his return to the semi-pro schedule is former Big Red athlete "Big" Duke Jones, who is 1-0 after a first round knockout in September.

Jones is set to battle Jordon Roussos from Pittsburgh. Roussos, 6-5, 285, is a former offensive lineman at BGSU. After his tenure with the Seattle Seahawks, he decided to extend his athletic career in the squared circle.

Jesse "The Snake" Lamone, a Weirton Steel employee, will be back in action, meeting veteran Josh Shreve of Moundsville. Lamone earned a second-round knockout in his ring debut.

Tickets for the event are available at Smokey's in Steubenville and Belmonte's Pizza in Weirton. Ringside and VIP tables for the event are sold out. General admission seating is available for $30 in advance. The weigh-in is set for 6 p.m. on Nov. 26 at Blue Steel Grill in Weirton.

The event is sponsored by Coors Light and Wine and Beverage Merchants of Weirton.
