Arrested: Larry Setzer, 40, 1432 Pennsylvania Ave., felonious assault and resisting arrest, Monday.

Arrested: David A. Hawthorne, 35, no fixed address, charged with receiving stolen property, a car allegedly stolen from Joe Leonard Auto Broker and a license plate taken from a vehicle parked at Tri-State Printing, Monday. Also cited for driving under suspension.

Arrested: Shawn Thomas, 30, 732 N. Sixth St., failure to appear, Monday.

Arrested: James Oxley, 26, 1560 state Route 152, Dillonvale, two bench warrants for failure to appear, Tuesday.

Arrested: David Cope, 49, 915 Maple Way, three counts of petit theft and Keith Baker, 48, 1329 Ridge Ave., one count of complicity to theft after police responding to reports of a man entering vehicles in the Tri-State Plaza parking lot discovered new Kmart bags alongside a bag full of merchandise valued at $107 allegedly taken from the store. Cope also cited for driving under suspension


Burglary: Police found the door glass shattered and prescription medicines missing after an Oct. 9 break-in at the Marland Heights Pharmacy.

Robbed: Garage door opened and items taken from a property on Braxton Road, Oct. 10.

Robbed: An employee of Gumby's told police she was robbed by a subject wearing a ski mask, dark jackets and jeans who grabbed a money bag and fled north in the alley behind the Washington Street business, Friday.

Arrested: Ryan Lee Miller, 115 Culler Road, Weirton, felony warrants out of Hancock County alleging a probation violation and escape/home confinement, Oct. 15.

Arrested: John M. McGowan, 117 Skyview Drive, Wellsburg, obstructing an officer, public intoxication and disorderly conduct, charged after police received reports of a disturbance at Den of Foxes, Oct. 13.

Arrested: James R. Carr Jr., 808 Allegheny St., Follansbee, capias arrest warrant, armed robbery and felon in possession of a firearm, charges stem from alleged robbery at Donut Connection, Oct. 12.

Arrested: Nicole Coleman, 3440 Elm St., Weirton, warrant for battery, Oct. 11.

Arrested: Antoinette M. Kiid, 2103 Pennsylvania Ave., Weirton, charged with possession of a controlled substance, obstruction and shoplifting after an alleged incident at Gabriel Brothers, Oct. 11.

Arrested: Kenneth G. Neely, 206 Owings St., Weirton, driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident, Oct. 11.

Arrested: Kimberly Lynn Smith, 1367 Township Road 267, Amsterdam, warrant served for driving while license suspended, first offense, Oct. 10.

Arrested: William Jacob Thomas, 116 Beverly Ave., Weirton, domestic battery, Oct. 10.

Arrested: Aaron Liddick, 31, 1326 Josephine St., Toronto, warrants for three counts of felony theft, Monday.

Theft: A mailbox and mail were stolen from a residence on Brush Creek Township Road 302, Hammondsville, overnight Sunday. Victim told deputies it is the second time his mailbox has been stolen.

Theft: Dresden Avenue resident reported two packages had been taken from his porch on Oct. 16.

Arrested: Tara J. Haspel, 30, 2456 Eldersville Road, Follansbee, domestic battery, Oct. 15.

Arrested: Timothy B. Dowden, 21, 326 Rabbit Hill Road, Wellsburg, daytime burglary, Friday.

Cited: Nicole A. Davis, 18, 2882 Kragel Road, Richmond, speeding; Randall L. Reid, 43, 320 Toat Ave., Windsor Heights, public intoxication; and Benjamin J. Rodgers, 18, 308 Heathermoor Drive, Follansbee, red light violation.
