October 17, 2013
The Herald-Star

The Voice of Pentecost, 106 Mendenhall St., Weirton, will be making homemade apple butter on Saturday. The apple butter is cooked all day in copper pots over an open fire, according to the Rev. and Mrs. Robert Keenan.

"The public is invited to come out and watch and enjoy the day, which will feature food and other activities," Pastor Keenan said. The apple butter is $5 a pint. For information or to place an order, call the church office at (304) 748-5400.
