The Steubenville Art Association held its opening dinner for the 2013-14 year at St. Florian Hall on Sept. 18, an occasion where the membership booklet with the year's schedule was distributed.
Marnee Muhlman presented the upcoming art workshops, a list of the demonstrators for the meetings and discussed the three-man exhibits at Eastern Gateway in the fall.
A watercolor workshop for beginner to advanced art enthusiasts will be taught by Bill Rettig, who also will demonstrate painting at the 7 p.m. meeting on Oct. 16.

Diana Holcomb will hold a colored pencil workshop on Nov. 20 and also demonstrate at that evening's meeting. Both workshops will be held at Historic Fort Steuben from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $40. Questions and reservations should be directed to Muhlman by calling (330) 340-4577.
