In observance of October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, WIAACC also is holding its annual banner fundraiser "It Goes Where We Go" drive.
"With your participation, the women will be able to continue to provide free breast and cervical exams, mammograms and other services throughout Jefferson County. The past year alone, we provided free services to more than 200 women. This number doubled from 2012," said Judy Manfred, WIAACC president.
"Donations are being sought and in exchange, a banner with your name will be displayed at the Fort Steuben Mall for the entire month of October," Manfred said.
"Throughout the rest of the year, where we go, the banner will go. Please consider a donation and help us save a life. Every $80 collected provides services to one individual," she said.
Checks can be made payable to WIAACC and mailed to P.O. Box 837, Steubenville, OH 43952.
