Three arrested in Weirton for gun charges

WEIRTON - Three people were taken into custody Tuesday after City Police found a loaded handgun in a car following a routine traffic stop in the 3700 block of Main Street.

Police said the driver, Sarah McKee of Weirton, was charged with driving while her license was suspended and having a concealed weapon.

Her passengers, Christopher Bishop, 28, and Zjaondezel Douglas, 29, both of Weirton, each were charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Douglas also was served with an additional warrant out of Hancock County charging him with possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

All three were arraigned in Brooke County. Bond was set at $125,000 for Douglas, $100,000 for Bish and $5,100 for McKee.
