Arrested: Cory F. Brockway, 33, 1631 county Road 26, Steubenville, possession of drugs and two counts of petit theft after police said Brockway was seen entering vehicles at the Fort Steuben Mall Tuesday afternoon and taking items.

Cited: Sarah R. Kolkedy, 23, 104 Mound St., Tiltonsville, failure to control and driving with suspended license.

Theft: Nurses' purses taken from third-floor staff room at Trinity Medical Center East on Tuesday.

Arrested: Anthony Blancato, 40, 17 Ridgeland Drive, Toronto, violation of no contact order, Tuesday.

Arrested: Amber M. Winland, 27, 558 Linden Ave., drug trafficking, Tuesday.

Shots fired: Police received a report of shots fired around 12:41 a.m. today in the area of the 1300 block of Oak Grove Avenue but nothing was observed.

Theft: Copper radiator taken from truck parked at the Salem Township trustees' garage between Friday and Tuesday.


Arrested: Robert T. Arnett, 106 Eva St., Weirton, city warrant for battery, July 31.

Arrested: Joseph E. Walker, 2908 Weir Ave., Weirton, domestic assault, July 31.

Arrested: Jacob Matthew Bishop, 186 Mayflower Lane, New Cumberland, warrant for breaking and entering, Thursday.

Arrested: Hailey Rice Mitchell, 220 Theresa Drive, Weirton, outstanding warrants from the city and county, Tuesday.
