The Herald-Star

AUTERI, Elizabeth "Rusty," 87, of Steubenville, passed away on July 28, 2013, surrounded by those she cherished most.

She was born on March 16, 1926 in Monessen, PA to the late Mary and Joseph Dustolfo.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Sarah Lalich and Beama Bakewell, and her brother, Robert Dustolfo.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Rocco "Rocky" Auteri; daughter, Diane (Sonny) Cellini; granddaughter, Danielle (Alex) Korsgaard, great-grandson, Justice Korsgaard, sisters, Anna Sagun, and Connie (Reggie) Mitchell; and many favorite nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom she loved very much.

Growing up in Steubenville, she attended Catholic schools where she skipped the second grade as she liked to remind everyone, was an avid bowler and solved even the toughest of crossword puzzles. Aunt "Lover", as everyone called her, lived life to the fullest and was most content when surrounded by family and friends, especially over a pot of coffee and spaghetti on Sundays. She will be missed by many, but her memory will carry on for years to come by those who were fortunate enough to be a part of her life.

A private service and burial was held Wednesday for immediate family only at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 2608 Hollywood Blvd., Steubenville. Condolences and tributes may be shared with her family at www.mostifuneralhome.com.
