Arrested: Ernest J. Johnson, 57, 919 Belmont St., Weirton, petit theft and criminal mischief after police caught him taking items from a vehicle in the 400 block of North Fourth Street, Friday.

Vandalism: Rear window of car shattered in parking lot at Heritage Place Apartments, 700 Market St., Friday.

Vandalism: Window of vehicle broken and cassettes taken in the 500 block of Washington Street, Saturday.
