Arrested: Michael Wells, no age given, 416 South Fifth St., Steubenville, failure to appear, Saturday.

Theft: The tail light was taken from a vehicle parked at a residence on Island Creek Township Road 378. The theft was reported Friday.


Arrested: Eric D. Smith, 22, 418 Spring Ave., Steubenville, trespassing, Friday.

Arrested: Warrants for failure to appear to Chad Yelich, 21, 3130 West St., Weirton; Terry Spear, 41, 727 Rosswell Ave., Steu-benville; and Ian J. Mitchell, 20, 209 Hollywood Blvd., Steu-benville.

Arrested: Daniel Duncan, 34, Apartment 3, 615 Carnegie St., Steubenville, assault on an officer, Friday.

Arrested: Shane Habig, 25, Bridgeport, Ohio, disorderly conduct, Saturday.

Arrested: Charles H. Johnson, 48, Columbus, domestic violence, disorderly conduct and aggravated menacing, Saturday.

Snyder, 28, Apartment H, 815 Market St., Steubenville, no operator's license and marked lanes violation; Melissa J. Brubaker, 30, Apartment 2, 1140 Main St., Follansbee, marked lanes violation; Courtney A. Lachance, 20, 11 Gullette Lane, Weirton, loud exhaust; Dennis R. Robinson, 21, 180 North Fourth St., Steubenville, public indecency; Robert J. Theft: A garage at a residence in the 1600 block of Roosevelt Avenue was broken into and several tools, including welding rods, were taken late Friday.

Vandalism: A filmy solution was thrown onto the windshield of a vehicle from the overpass at Sixth and Washington streets Friday evening.

Shots fired: City Police responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Oregon Avenue and Pittsburgh Street Friday night but found no shell casings.

Theft: A charcoal grill was taken from outside a home in the 100 block of McDowell Avenue Friday night.
