Williams to compete in combine

The combine takes approximately 175 prospects from seven regional combines (and 26 states) for the national combine. Williams earned the right to attend this weekend based on his performance at the Mid-West Regional Combine at Paul Brown Stadium last month.

"I thank God for the honor and opportunity to participate in this event," said Williams, who plays tight end and defensive line. "I can't wait to compete at the Pro Football Hall of Fame stadium."

The combine will also serve as a pool to select 75 percent of the North and South squads to compete in the third-annual Blue-Grey National All-American game Jan. 11 at Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The game will be televised by Fox Sports.
