Victor Warzinski

WARZINSKI, Victor L., 80, of Colliers, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Weirton Medical Center.

He was born on September 4, 1932, in Jefferson, PA, a son of the late Victor and Anna (Vikartovsky) Warzinski.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Paul Warzinski; two sisters, Ellen Paoli and Agnes Warzinski.

Victor graduated from Jefferson High School in 1950. He was a peacetime veteran of the Army having served from 1953-1955.

He retired after 30 years from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked mainly on number five pickler. He also got to enjoy 30 years of retirement.

He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a life member of the Follansbee, V.F.W.

Victor is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dolores (Kochis) Warzinski whom he married on August 4, 1956; three sons, Victor L. (Antoinette) Warzinski, Woodbridge, VA, John A. (Katherine) Warzinski, Orlean, VA, and Jeffrey A. (Lynn), Kernersville, NC; and12 grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Friday, May 3rd from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home, 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV.

A vigil service will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Pete Giannamore officiating.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 3rd at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Follansbee, WV with Msgr. Paul Hudock as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 1017 Jefferson St., Follansbee, WV.
