Pinwheel planting

Jefferson County Job and Family Services Department, in conjunction with A Caring Place Child Advocacy Center, held a pinwheel planting ceremony Wednesday in front of the Jefferson County Courthouse marking Child Abuse Prevention Month in April. Pupils from the Community Action Council’s Head Start Program planted the pinwheels, which represent love, hope, health and happiness for all children.
