Dolores Reynolds

REYNOLDS, Dolores May, 85, of Colliers, W.Va., passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 23, 2013.

She was born on October 15, 1927 in Coraopolis, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles Ross and Mabel Viola (McDermott) Chambers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence C. Reynolds in 1998, her son, Ross I. Reynolds in 2006, her son-in-law, L. Michael Burdiss in 2005, three brothers, Charles Lovell, Arthur, and Neal Chambers, and three sisters, Alice Pushy, Genevieve Lyons, and Lafern Kimball.

Dolores graduated in 1945 from New Cumberland High School. She later worked as a sales clerk at the former Hub in Steubenville, Ohio. Lastly ,she enjoyed plants and was a Deco Plant Lady for a number of years and sold plants at the farmers market in Steubenville, Ohio for many years.

Dolores was a member of the Follansbee Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Burdiss of Weirton, W.Va., five grand children, Deloris (Frank) Ellis, James Clarence Reynolds, Myron K. Jones, Jr., Melinda K. (Patrick) Joyce, and Melissa Lizon and companion James Park McMullen, III, eight great grandchildren, and one great greatgrandchild.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 27th from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. until time of funeral services at 7:30 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St. Follansbee, WV with Elder John Duffield, officiating.

Interment will be held privately in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.
