PROGER, Mark A., 42, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born July 16, 1970, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Tony Proger and Emma (Butler) Proger of Mingo.
Mark graduated from Mingo High School in 1989. He was a former laborer for the village of Mingo Junction, and a telemarketer at the former Reese Brothers Telemarketing in Steubenville. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Steubenville. Mark loved playing x-box and video games.
In addition to his mother, Emma, with whom he resided, he is survived by a son, Allen Proger of Steubenville; three sisters, Connie Proger of Mingo, Dianna (John) Fryzlewicz of Chambersburg, PA, and Kimberly (Richard) Kimble of Rayland, Ohio; a brother, Anthony Proger of Angier, NC; and his two cats, Tazz and Dash.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., Mingo Junction on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of his funeral services at 8 p.m., with Pastor Roger Wayne, officiating.
