Wellsburg man sent to prison
WHEELING - Lindsey Oiler, 27, of Wellsburg was sentenced to four months in prison on Monday by U.S. District Judge Frederick P. Stamp Jr. in connection with Oiler admitting to taking and using an ATM card.
U.S. Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld II said Oiler will be on three years of parole after his release and was ordered to make $7,083 in restitution.
Oiler pleaded guilty to stealing an ATM card and used it 42 times in July 2011 totaling $7,083.
Oiler was remanded to the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending designation to a federal prison.
UMWA chapter to meet Saturday
