upcoming events on the calendar

The Mingo Junction Harmony United Methodist Women held their January meeting in the church's social hall with Mary Joy VanDyne, president, presiding and opening the meeting. She also served as hostess.

Ethel Kerwood read devotions entitled "White as Snow" by Billy Graham.

Ginny Howell, program leader, read an article from the Internet regarding controversy over displaying the 10 commandments on government property. She handed out bookmarkers listing the commandments.

In a review of events, VanDyne said the group's Christmas party at Scaffidi's was enjoyable and noted poinsettias were delivered to shut-ins.
