RICE, Delona "Dee" 66 of Wintersville, died Sunday, January 6, 2013, at Trinity West ER.

She was born August 29, 1946 in Glendale, WV. She is the daughter of the late Willis Carmichael and Pauline Tyler Carmichael of Hartselle, AL

Dee was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, it's CWC and was a certified one stroke instructor at the former Jefferson Technical College and WV Northern.

Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband; James A. Rice, Sr. whom she married April 16, 1987, two daughters, Vicki Lynn (Alan) McCullough of Weirton and Lorenda Burrows (Jason wright) of Wintrsville; one son, James "Jamie" A.( Cindy) Rice, Jr. of Bloomingdale; three sisters, Lenna (Bubba) Lopez and Nancy Lee (Buddy Jo) Fowler both of Hatrselle, AL and Eileen Thompson (companion Matt Chambers) of Wintersville; 10 grandchildren; Lacey (Nathan) Kepner, Seth Hahn, Joshua, Eddie and Gregory Burrows, Rebecca Rice, Alanna McCullough, Amber McCullough (companion Jason Rogers), Megan (Kevin) Truax and Summer (Josh) Yeager; nine great grandchildren; Avery, Kaleb, Emily, Michael, Cody, Nicholas, Gianna, Addison and Garrett.

Dee helped at the Blessed Sacrament bingo for many years and she didn't know the word "No."

Calling hours are Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd. Steubenville. A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Msgr. Kurt Kemo, celebrant. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be a vigil service at 3:45 pm.
