ANDERSON, James J. "Little Andy", age 69, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013, at Valley Hospice.
He was born Oct. 30, 1943, in Steubenville, a son of the late John E. Anderson and Margaret "Peggy" May Anderson Moody.
James retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. as a slab stocker and was a 1961 graduate of Steubenville High School and former Steubenville Elks Lodge member.
He is survived by a son, James Derek Anderson of New York, NY, and a daughter, Kara (Jamie) Gigliotti of Pittsburgh, PA; his companion and caregiver, Tracy L. Perry and their children, Crystal M. Dreier, Juliann Grimm and Michael J. Grimm II, all of Steubenville; four grand-children; and brother, John W. Anderson of Steubenville.
Friends may call at the Shorac Funeral Home, 611 N. 4th Street, Steubenville, on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating.
