Nancy Scheible

SCHEIBLE, Nancy E. Murray, 93, of Steubenville, OH, went to be with the Lord December 28, 2013, in Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville.

She was born November 29, 1919, in Cameron, WV, daughter of the late Henry and Agnes (Phillips) Murray.

Nancy was a resident of Bolger's Country Club Manor for over six years. She loved the nurses, aides, activity staff as well as housekeeping and meal workers. Never a day went by that a worker did not brighten her day. This was her home away from home.

Nancy attended Sixth Street United Methodist Church in Toronto before moving to Bolger's. She graduated from Toronto High School then received her accounting and business degree. Nancy worked at the Manos Theatre in Toronto for many years. She later retired from Ohio Valley Hospital payroll office presently Trinity West Hospital.

Nancy was active in Toronto and Steubenville Bowling Leagues and she loved roller skating and had an unbelievable love for roller coasters especially the Kings Island Beast, which she rode faithfully over 30 times a visit. Her favorite pastime was her Saturday shopping trips with best friends Millie and Betty, along with the many trips to Niagara Falls and California, as well as Alaska.

In addition to her parents preceding her in death were her husband Wilmont J. Scheible; son, James W. Scheible from California; granddaughter, Kristina Cortez White of Steubenville; brother, George Murray of Massillon, OH.

Surviving are daughter, Deborah (Jim) Philippi of Toronto, OH; grandson, Joey (Georgia) Scheible of Calif; granddaughter, Carissa (Brad) Wright of Washington; step-grandson, John (Amy) Cortez Hopedale, OH; great-grandchildren, Jordan Quinn, Zack Burch, Olivia Wright, Aaron Hilt, Philip Hilt, Lucas VanKeuren, Ariel Cortez, Jonathan Cortez; brother, Ronald Henry Murray formerly of Cameron WV.

There will be a private memorial at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are in the care of J. E. Foster Funeral Home in Toronto, OH.
