WEIRTON - Weirton Medical Center has added two obstetrics/gynecology physicians in the area to the WMC family.

Drs. Tina Cutone and Rachel Gilman of All About Women have joined Weirton Medical Center. The two physicians will be performing procedures at WMC immediately and are expected to see patients as early as this spring in a newly designed, state-of-the-art facility located inside Weirton Medical Center's Medical Office Building.

Cutone is a Weirton native and has been practicing obstetrics/ gynecology in the Weirton-Steubenville community since 1999. She's a West Virginia University School of Medicine graduate. She is board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in total women's health. Her particular areas of interest include treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic surgery.

Gilman is a graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed her family practice residency at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. After working as a family physician, she returned to complete a second residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She is board certified in family practice and obstetrics and gynecology. She specializes in total women's health. Her particular areas of interest include obstetrics, women's wellness and adolescent gynecology.

"This is a great day for Weirton Medical Center, but more importantly for the community. We cannot say enough about these two women. They are vital parts of the community, providing services our women need and to have them here at WMC, is a win-win," said Vince Deluzio of R and V Associates.

According to WMC CEO Charles M. O'Brien, "In the near future, we will bring in additional OB/GYN physicians to complement the services of Drs. Gilman and Cutone, so we are very pleased to be growing to better serve the women of the area."
