STEUBENVILLE - One city man is in custody and police are searching for another after the Jefferson County Drug Task Force executed separate search warrants at their homes Tuesday.
Duan Harris, 27, Apartment 8, 908 Market St., was charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine and two counts of trafficking in heroin after police found both drugs in his home, the task force reported.
Documents on file at the Steubenville Police Department indicate marijuana, digital scales and items for packaging narcotics also were found in Harris' apartment.
Harris, currently lodged in the Jefferson County jail, is expected to make his initial appearance Wednesday in Steubenville Municipal Court.
Authorities still are searching for Dino Suriano Sr., 55, 100 Powells Lane, Wintersville, who the task force said faces one count of possesion of cocaine and three felony counts of possession of prescription pills.
According to the task force, officers searching Suriano's residence found cocaine, a firearm and more than 300 prescription pills.
Officers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, as well as Steubenville and Wintersville police departments assisted the searches.
