FRIEND, Harry J. "Bus," 88, of Follansbee, WV, passed away Dec. 9, 2012, at Lifeline Hospital, Wintersville, OH.
He was born May 31, 1924, in Washington, PA, a son of the late Robert and Hannah (Friend) Kiger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores May Kinney Friend; a daughter, Barbara Radvansky on Nov. 8, 2011; and four sisters.
He was the owner of the H-J Friend Construction Co., and he also was a Navy veteran in World War II.
He is survived by a son, Harry H. Friend Jr. of Arizona; a daughter, Sharon (Carl) Roadman of Sanford, NC; four grandchildren: Lori (Shawn) Staten, Brian (Krista) Roadman, Harry Joseph Friend III and Jaime Radvansky; and three great-grandchildren: Damon Staten, Madison and Morgan Roadman.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
