Geanangel to be in showcase
WINTERSVILLE - Paige Geanangel, a sophomore at Indian Creek High School, has been selected to compete in the Queen of Diamonds Showcase North Jan. 5-6 at Kent State University.
The QDSN is part of the Queen of Diamond's Showcase events which are the largest fast pitch softball showcases of its kind in the United States.
Youth league to hold sign-ups
FOLLANSBEE - The Follansbee Youth Basketball League will hold its final registration from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Follansbee Middle School gym for players in grades 4-6.
Big Red boosters to meet
STEUBENVILLE - The Steubenville Big Red Boosters Club will meet at 6 p.m. Monday in the high school commons area.
Big Red football banquet to be held
STEUBENVILLE - The annual Big Red football banquet will be held at 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 at Steubenville High School.
Tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased at the high school's main office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and at the boosters club meeting. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
