Weekender moving for this week
STEUBENVILLE -The Weekender entertainment section that is usually included with Thursday's edition, is moving this week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.
You'll find Weekender included with Friday's edition this week. It will return to its normal Thursday publication next week.
Mingo Junction meeting set
MINGO JUNCTION - Village Council will meet at 5 p.m. Friday to discuss personnel and contract issues, officials have announced.
WSX Management Club to meet
WEIRTON -The Weirton Steel Management Club will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Giovanni's Restaurant in the banquet room.
George Lacik will be guest speaker, discussing changes in health care for 2013.
All members and former members are invited to attend the dinner and social time.
Adena plans Christmas events
ADENA - A Christmas parade is scheduled for Dec. 9, when a line-up for parade participants will be on Hannah Avenue at 4:15 p.m. At 5 p.m. there will be caroling on the Village Green and following this, families can go to the Adena Community Center for treats from Santa and refreshments for the entire family. Pictures will be aken with Santa as well.
There is a float contest with three monetary prizes awarded.
