TORONTO - Bryan and Michele Santin of Toronto announce the engagement of their son, Bryan Michael, to Lore Denisse Rivera Hernandez, daughter of Loreto Hernandez Sarabia of Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico.
The bride-to-be graduated from the Institute of Technology of Culiacan in Mexico in 2006 with a degree in industrial engineering. She also earned a master's degree in 2011 in environmental sciences from Miami University with a focus in geographic information science. She is employed as a staffing specialist in Elkhart, Ind.
Her fiance is a 2005 graduate of Catholic Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in political science and English from Ohio Dominican University in 2009 and a master's degree in 2011 in English literature from Miami University. He is pursuing his Ph.D. in English at the University of Notre Dame.
