WEIRTON - St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Weirton was the setting for the Aug. 11, 2012, wedding that united Stephanie Pate and Brandon Kopetzky in marriage. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Manuel Gelido.
Given in marriage by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Wesley Pate of Weirton, the bride chose a satin halter a-line gown with beaded lace applique and cut-out-lace hem, accompanied by a long-sleeve, lace floral jacket and mantilla veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses, pink roses, purple irises, and stephanotis.
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Kopetzky of Bowie, Md.

Stephanie Young of Morgantown served as the maid of honor. Valerie Kopetzky of Charlotte, N.C., sister-in-law of the groom, served as the bridesmaid.
Brian Kopetzky of Charlotte, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Luis Elizondo of Charlotte, served as the groomsman in addition to Michael Cecchini and Brian Perfetti, cousins of the bride.
Anya Kopetzky, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl, and Garrett Blasher, cousin of the bride, served as the ring bearer.
After a reception at the Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh Airport, the newlyweds honeymooned at Hilton Head Island, S.C.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Madonna High School and a 2011 graduate of West Virginia University. She has a degree in elementary and special education and is employed as a preschool teacher by the Diocese of Charlotte.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of DeMatha High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland. He has a degree in computer science and is self-employed in computer software.
They reside in Charlotte.
