Mark Law, a Herald-Star staff writer, was presented with a certificate as a runner-up for the 2012 Public Children Services Association of Ohio journalist of the year competition. Presenting Law, center, with the certificate were Elizabeth Ferron, director of Jefferson County Job and Family Services, and John Rodesh, administrator of the Children Services Division.
