Brooke-Hancock Salvation Army Capt. Ed Long, center, accepted a $1,000 donation from the Weirton Rotary Club during Wednesday’s luncheon meeting at Williams Country Club. Presenting the contribution were Rotary President Mike Gianni, left, and Doug Finton, the club’s community services director. Long told Rotarians the money will help make the holiday’s brighter for hundreds of area residents.
