Dinner at Hill Top Presbyterian Church

There will be an Italian night dinner at the Hill Top Church fellowship hall, at the intersection of county Road 46 and state Route 213, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The menu will be spaghetti with meat sauce, meatballs, salad bar, Italian bread, homemade pies and hot and cold beverages. Eat-in, or carry-out is available. Donations accepted.

Events at Toronto Bible Methodist Church

Sunday - Morning Sunday school, 10 a.m.; service, 11 a.m.; evening service, 6 p.m.; weekly Bible study, 5:30 p.m.

First Presbyterian Church lists activities

Sunday - New members will be received during worship service. Presbyterian Women's Association will meet after.

Monday - The Elizabeth Circle will meet at noon.

Tuesday - Deadline for the December newsletter.

Wednesday Chi Rho Youth Group meets at 4 p.m.; the chancel choir rehearsal will be at 7 p.m.

Thursday The yarn ministry meets at 10 a.m.; and Bible study at 6 p.m.

Activities at Riverview United Methodist Church

Bible study at Whispering Hills

A nondenominational Bible study meets at 6:30 p.m. every Monday in the Whispering Hills apartment complex community room, 901 Bank St.

All are welcome, and no collections are taken. Children's Bible study is at 6:30 p.m. every Thursday at the community room. All children are welcome.

Events at North River Avenue Christian Church

Sunday - The worship service begins at 9:45 a.m. At 10:45 a.m. the junior church worship service meets in the junior area downstairs. The service is for those ages 5 to fourth grade. The youth group meets at 6 p.m. The evening meditation service begins at 7 p.m. All veterans will be recognized during the morning worship service.

Monday -The Boy Scouts will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday - Bible study will begin at 7 p.m. in the overflow room opposite the sanctuary. Adult choir practice is at 8:15 p.m.

Wednesday - The turkey harvest dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Soup and sandwiches will be served in the fellowship hall, and donations collected will benefit the His Hands Extended Food Pantry and Colegio Biblico. A signup sheet is posted on the church bulletin board.

Nov. 16 - Church members begin ringing bells for the Toronto Unit of the Salvation Army. A signup sheet is posted on the church bulletin board.

Nov. 25 - Members will decorate the church sanctuary for Christmas. Soup and sandwiches will be served.

Events at Toronto First UM church

Sunday - Sunday school will begin at 9:30 a.m.; the rise and shine contemporary service will begin at 8:30 a.m.; and the worship service begins at 10 :45 a.m. Lynn Modranski will be in concert at the church beginning at 7 p.m.

Monday - Bible study begins at 6 p.m. The administration council will meet at 7 p.m.

Tuesday - Bible study begins at 10 a.m. The faith fellowship will meet at noon. The Adventure Club meets from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday - The bell choir and the caring crafters meet at 6 p.m.; and the choir at 7 p.m.

Thursday- TOPS will meet at 5:30 p.m. The nursing home ministry will meet at 6:30 at Calcutta Health Care.

Wednesday - Babygarten meets at 6 p.m. for caregiver and children ages birth to 24 months.

Nov. 17 - Family movie day at 1 p.m.
