KAKASCIK, Daniel W. "Fireball," 89, of Wheeling, WV, formerly of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2012, at his home.
He was born July 2, 1923, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Albert and Mary Kondas Kakascik.
Daniel retired from Weirton Steel as a supervisor inspector of the Strip Steel Department and was a member of the Weirton Steel 25-Year Club.
Preceding Daniel in death are two brothers, Albert and Ambrose Kakascik.
Surviving are his wife, Sophia Karas Kakascik; two sons, Daniel (Linda) Kakascik and David Kakascik, both of Wheeling, WV; and a brother, Burt (Chris) Kakascik of Reynoldsburg, OH.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
