NEW MANCHESTER - Around the world, Point Pleasant is known for the Silver Bridge tragedy and The Mothman. Across the state of West Virginia and Southeastern Ohio, Point Pleasant is known for having a pretty good football team.

The Big Blacks proved that point in convincing fashion Saturday afternoon as they scored 50 unanswered points to defeat Oak Glen, 50-6, at the Bears Den.

"It was a bad finish," first-year Oak Glen head coach Ian Whittington said.
