To the editor:
I write as a Steubenville native who graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1967.
My purpose in writing is to apply one of the most important lessons that growing up there taught me. I do so in the hope of returning the favor by helping your readers apply the lessons I learned from them to deciding whether to vote for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney for president.
Back then, I learned the wisdom of the saying, "He may not always be right, but he is always boss." Mr. Romney's behavior during the first debate reminded me of a person who has grown accustomed to being deferred to, like a B-I-G Boss, say... like a guy who has been a CEO for way too long. My point is CEO's don't need to listen, presidents do.
Romney makes me uncomfortable. That's why I encourage your readers to vote for Obama for president.
