Force holding registration
WEIRTON - The Force Soccer Club travel soccer registration is open online at www.npysaforce.org. For ages 14-19, new boys and girls teams will be created in the spring. Players between 8-13 can be added to our current rosters. All players must register online.
Player evaluations will take place at the J.C. Williams Soccer Complex at 2 p.m. for boys and 4 p.m. for girls on Nov. 11. U14 girls evaluations will take place at 11 a.m. on Nov. 3. All players must be pre-registered in order to participate in the evaluation.

Heat to hold tryout
WHEELING - The Wheeling Heat travel baseball team will hold an open tryout from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Dallas Pike Field. Any child going into his first or second year of Mustang baseball is eligible to try out.

Kowalczyk records an ace
CADIZ - Randy Kowalczyk recorded a hole-in-one at Cadiz Country Club. The Wellsburg resident used an 8-iron on the 148-yard par 3 13th hole. The shot was witnessed by Jeffrey DeStefano.
