Letter raises more questions

October 14, 2012
The Herald-Star

To the editor:

When I read the letter to the editor written by Jefferson County Commissioner Thomas Graham that appeared in the Oct. 7 edition, I had to read it twice ("Comments are not logical.")

It is hard for me to believe that a man of his caliber, a professor, a church-goer and a commissioner, would stoop to that level and write what he did. The remarks were cheap and below the belt.

All he had to write was, "Get your facts straight." His letter shows me what he is made of.

Harry Andrews, keep doing what you do. Commissioner Graham, I see your picture and name in the newspaper more than I do his.

We are still renting the temporary bridge down at Gould's, and the Apex Landfill still stinks.

James R. Robbins Sr.
