STEUBENVILLE - The Franciscan University of Steubenville's volleyball team swept visiting Mount Aloysius College 25-18, 25-13, 25-14 Wednesday at the Finnegan Fieldhouse in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference match.

"I was most pleased with their focus and consistency throughout the match," FUS head coach Kelly Herrmann said. "That is important for our young team. That was our best overall match of the season. It was an important conference win because Mount Aloysius is such a good team."

Senior Anna Cain dominated the middle of the floor with 11 kills and four blocks. She iced the match for her team with four clutch kills in the third game. Dani Link totaled 10 kills and Christina Lawrence added six and 13 digs. Amy O'Keefe racked up 22 assists. Sam Kelly led the Barons with 16 digs.
