It is with great sadness that the family of Regina "Jeannie" Bracone, announces her peaceful death on Friday October 5, 2012, at the Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio, at the age of 82, surrounded by her loving family.
Jeannie was born on December 18, 1929, in Wheeling, WV.
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends.
Jeannie was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and the former St. Bernadette Parish. She was a homemaker and raised six children and babysat for her 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband, John "Bragan" Bracone; her parents, Michael and Josephine (Senderauk) Rzepka; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Bracone; six sisters, Mary, Laura, Stella, Ann, Helen, and Catherine; and two brothers, Stanley and Emil.
Jeannie is survived by five sons and one daughter, John (Chris) Bracone, Gary Bracone, Joe Bracone, Mark (Missy) Bracone, all of Mingo Junction and Michael (Sonya) Bracone of Anderson, SC and Jeannine (Alan) Sawon of Mingo Junction, with whom she resided; 10 grandchildren, Joseph (Brittany), Joshua (Courtney) Aaron (Natalie), Jessica, Ashly, Abby, Michaela, Nicco, Maleia and Gianna; and seven great-grandchildren, Madison, Alex, Cayden, Luke, Ava, Elaine and Eric.
Jeannie was a member of the Catholic Womens Club of St. Agnes; the Mingo Senior Citizens Center and the Shanagu Club. She also enjoyed weekly and monthly card club with her friends.
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Valley Hospice in Steubenville.
Jeannie will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family and friends.
A celebration of Jeannie's life will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 204 St. Clair Ave., Mingo Junction. Friends will be received at the church on Monday from 3-8 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of her Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 10 a.m. with Rev. Fr. James M. Dunfee, celebrant.
Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo Junction.
