Beware the lame-brain media

October 7, 2012
The Herald-Star

To the editor:

After the three presidential debates and the spin cycle in the presidential election are over and one is elected, how do the spinners reconcile their differences, or do they stay at odds and let the rest of the world know what fools they are, or should I say what fools the American people are for electing in their opinion a fool to be president?

Causing chaos is not a noble cause, and for those who advocate chaos and add to the discourse in America, they will pay the price of being disgraced in the end.

There's the mainstream media and the lame-brain media. From henceforth I decree talk radio and cable television the lame-brain media - with no exceptions for MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Lawrence O'Donnell, Rachel Maddow and Wolf Blitzer.

Talk radio's Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Michael Savage all speak with forked tounges and cannot be trusted.

Men with twisted words and an audience can cause great harm in America.

Their day begins with opinion vs. facts. It's a death blow to America when these impersonators of journalism exploit buffoonism to make money at the expense of embarrassing America.

If we as a people let those of opinion with no facts influence our lives, or should I say run our lives, then we as a people deserve what we get.
