Animal blessing
The Rev. Larry Dorsch blessed the pet turtle of Morgan Owens, a third-grade pupil at St. Paul Catholic School during a Blessing of the Animals service held at the school this week. The service was held in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, and included pupils bringing a variety of pets, including cats, dogs, turtles, ferrets, bearded dragons, hamsters, rabbits and gerbils.
