The Catholic Woman's Club of St. Peter's Church, 425 N. Fourth St., Steubenville, is planning a soup, sandwich and used Christmas item sale to be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the church hall.
Patrons can dine in or get takeout orders. The event also will include a bake sale and a 50/50 drawing in addition to the sale of crosses and advent candles.
Getting ready for the event are Gerri Kelly, Marie Wanchic, Nancy Nale, Linda Edgar and Bernie Zapolnik, Carolyn Klonowski, Lidia Kontra, the Rev. Timothy Huffman, Enice Boyde, Bea Antol, Athena Nation and Anne Elizabeth.
