FOLLANSBEE - Carri Lorraine Perani and Brian Scott Welsh were united in marriage at 11:30 a.m. June 10 in the gardens of Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus, with officiant Elayne Blair.

The bride is the daughter of Jim Perani of Blacksville, W.Va., and Bill and Vicki Thompson of Weirton.

The groom is the son of Daniel and Pamela Welsh of Follansbee.

Jaime DeJohn of Pittsburgh, sister of the bride, was matron of honor.

Brother of the groom, Adam Welsh of Somerset, Pa., was best man.

Flower girls were Delia Givens, niece of the bride; Onna and Adalynne Welsh, nieces of the groom; Parker Gorsuch; and Lyla Horvath.

The couple honeymooned in Kauai, Hawaii.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Brooke High School, a 2002 graduate of the Career Training Academy and a 2011 graduate from Three Rivers Yoga Institute. She is self-employed at Trilogy Therapies LLC as a licensed massage therapist and also teaches yoga at Cindy's Fusion Fitness.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Brooke High School. He graduated in 1998 from DeVry University with an associate degree in electronics. He is a self-employed contractor for Fed Ex Ground.

The couple reside in Follansbee.
